6 Home-Made Summer Cocktails

Whether you’re celebrating the arrival of the sun, the end of lockdown (finger crossed) or the sale of your home here are some classic cocktails with a property twist for you to enjoy this summer!

Strawberry Sales Daiquiri

4 Fresh strawberries, 2 tsp white sugar, 35ml white rum, 1 tbsp strawberry liqueur, 25ml lime juice

Place the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and mash thoroughly, add the lid and shake well. Strain the mixture into your chosen glass and garnish it with a strawberry.

Pina Property Colada

35ml Gold rum, 1 tbsp coconut flavoured rum, 50ml coconut cream, 50ml pineapple juice, 3-4 pineapple chunks

Pour all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth, pour into your cocktail glass and enjoy.

Moving Home Mojito

1 ½ Limes, fresh mint leaves, 2 ½ tsp granulated sugar, 65ml white rum, a splash of soda water, ice

Place the limes, mint and sugar and mash well, add the ice and pour over the rum. Add a splash of soda water and stir well.

Home-made Sangria

Red wine, orange juice, lemonade, ice, fresh mint, sliced fresh fruit

Mix three parts red wine with one part orange juice and two parts lemonade with the ice, mint and fruit into a large jug. Pour into your glass and keep it topped up.

Freehold Ginger Fizz

200g Ice, 400g frozen cranberries, 3 knobs of preserved stem ginger, 3 tbsp syrup from the ginger jar, 500ml cider

Blend all of the ingredients together apart from the cider, add the cider then blend again and serve in a jug.

Renters Rum Punch

4 tsp Golden rum, 4 tsp white rum, 1 tbsp vanilla syrup, 1 tbsp apricot liqueur, 25ml mango juice, 25ml guava juice, 1 tbsp dark rum

Add the rums lime juice, syrup, liqueur, mango juice and guava juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a jug filled with ice. Carefully pour the dark rum into the glass so that it floats on top of your cocktail.
