From bouncing babies to playful puppies, everyone is welcome to enjoy a day out where you can see a wide range of livestock and cattle as well as over 300 traders showing off their impressive produce.Velothon WalesEach year, Usk welcomes over 15,000 cyclists through the picturesque town. The local schools and community groups work together to decorate the route where riders have taken on the challenging 140km and 110km ride. Every year the support from the locals continues to grow, and we can’t wait to see what they have planned for this year. The Velothon Wales will take place on 8^th July and is sure to be another great success.Usk in BloomUsk in Bloom may not be an event as such, but it’s certainly something that its residents are extremely proud of, and rightly so. In 2017 the small market town made up of just 2,300 people was named the winner of the Wales in Bloom Larger Village for the 36^th year in a row! Usk also won Britain in Bloom 2017 in the Larger Village category in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Britain in Bloom awards.
