We all neglect our homes from time to time, putting off jobs that need to be done and ignoring little maintenance issues but it’s time to give your home some TLC with our summer home health checklist.

• Check the roof for any damage and clear out the guttering.
• De-weed your patio and repoint where needed.
• Clean and paint your decking.
• Prune any large shrubs or trees that have flourished during the summer.
• Trim any climbing plants, especially around your windows and guttering.
• Clean all the garden furniture and paddling pools before they get stored away for the winter.
