Stay Out to Help Out

During August did you enjoy a meal out under the Government’s ‘Eat Out To Help Out’ scheme? Well, some of our favourite places to eat are extending the offer throughout September! Bank Holiday Monday saw the end of the Government’s official offer of 50% off food and soft drinks but as a ‘Thank You’ to their customers here are the places offering deals this month.

Villa Dino

The family-run Italian restaurant located on Chepstow Road is offering their customers 50% off food and soft drinks up to a maximum of £10 per person on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout September. The owners, Tracy and Dino, have extended the offer following huge support from their customers and in a bid to invite new diners to taste their traditional Italian cuisine.

Vittorio’s

Another well-established Italian restaurant based on Stow Hill is offering the extended government’s deal on the same terms throughout September stating, “we can’t let these chains have all the fun”. With a 4.9 out of 5 customer rating on Facebook, it’s certainly worth trying somewhere new this month.

Brains Pubs

You may be surprised by the number of Brain’s pubs that we have in Newport and Cwmbran. The chain is offering the deal until September 9th so act now to book your table. Here’s a list of the places owned by Brains near you. Hanbury Ale House, Caerleon, The Greenhouse, Llantarnam, Blinkin Owl Cwmbran and The Darran Risca.

Pizza Hut

If the kids are craving a pizza after a long day in school, Pizza Hut is offering two-for-one mains on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7th September, all you have to do is be signed up to their newsletter and decide which toppings you’re going to have!

Wetherspoons

The popular chain has launched its own promotion calling it ‘Stay Out to Help Out’ encouraging their customers to dine with them on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at their reduced priced menu until 11th November.
