Have you noticed some changes around Caerleon village recently? We’ve been in our new office for almost two years now and a lot has happened during that time. We’re happy to say that businesses have adapted and even in some cases thrived through the pandemic and we are proud to stand amongst the local businesses of Caerleon. We’d like to give some of them a big shout out and encourage those of you who live in and around Caerleon to spend some time getting to know our neighbours.
You may have noticed that the popular fashion, home and gift shop has moved to the premises next door! With a new shop front and pretty interiors, the team at Flaunt have done an amazing job of transforming this old and dilapidated row into a pleasant place to shop. Aside from their fashion gems the homeware at Flaunt is simply lovely. From cushions to coasters to carvings we warn you, you will not leave empty-handed. Here’s what a recent customer had to say, “First time visiting today, loved everything! Came away with a good few items, fitted like a glove and fab quality. Great service from two lovely ladies, thanks Lisa” – Ruth Ross.
Filling the boots of Flaunt’s former home is this cool barbershop. From barnets to beards, Guy and his team have created a stylish space for boys and men to get a trim. We particularly love their funky capes and trendy décor! Since the Covid rules have relaxed you can now get a coffee while you’re sitting in the chair as they await confirmation for an alcohol licence on the premises, we can’t wait for our next visit.
This quaint bespoke florist is home to some seriously stunning bouquets. Just visit their Facebook page to see some of their arrangement as well as rave reviews. As Christmas approaches Monique and her team are putting on Christmas wreath making classes in November & December in the Goldcroft Pub, another local business that we encourage you to visit!
When it comes to coffee, the team at Coffiology know their stuff but that’s not where their talents end. Cakes, cocktails and champagne are also all on offer within this popular venue situated in the heart of Caerleon village. So much more than just a coffee shop, Justine and her team welcome guest artisans and bakers to share their treats for you to enjoy with of course a cup of tea or coffee. Following a strict Work. Play. Coffee philosophy the business also features a separate building called The Factory within this hub are hot desks offering flexible workspace, hot desks and function rooms.
A long-standing neighbour of ours and locally known as The Bull, Ye Old Bull Inn has had many owners over the years but Matt and his team have refurbished this traditional pub to create a popular restaurant and bar. As well as recently welcoming a new chef The Bull also holds regular events that include live music, charity evenings and live sport.
As you can see we are just a little proud of our neighbours and love to support them in whatever way we can and would love you to join us! We’re proud to work and play alongside these businesses who have not only survived but thrived through the pandemic and look forward to what’s next for the businesses of Caerleon.
